(now with 'car' option)poll: so how IS mail delivered to your house?
Guaranos:
My mailman leaves me a nastygram every once in a while because my garbage can makes it tough to get close to the mailbox. Of course, I don't put my garbage can anywhere near the mailbox - the trash collector guy does. I think they're having a turf war or something.
ChadTower:
I found a package of mine in the bushes last night - yards from my mailbox. No idea how long it has been there. Guess the mailman has something up his ass again.
BobA:
What do you mean to your house? You mean you get that type of service? In new areas Canada Post no longer delivers to your house. Mail is put in gigantic post boxes placed on the main street (meaning busy) so you have to get out in the rain and snow and pick up your own mail every day. :badmood:
danny_galaga:
well folks, come to australia! door to door post, AND it's warmer (",)
Cakemeister:
The jeeps they drive to deliver the mail/post here in the U.S. are right-side drive a la UK. That's so they can drive on the right hand side of the road, open the window, and load up the mailbox, without having to get out of the car or lean over the passenger side seat.
