$299 30 inch HDTV from Phillips
« on: August 29, 2007, 01:44:06 pm »
Pretty good deal, I have two of them.  They are damn heavy...
Use coupon code: KICKOFF-0807

It also has an integrated hdtv tuner...

Might not be good for MAME due to widescreen but for general TV it's awesome.

People have had mixed results with the phillips outlet. Their warranty sucks on the refurb stuff too. If you have a Value City store in your area, keep an eye out for their add as they put 32-37" crt HD on sale for that price fairly often. My wife's stepfather has the 32" Sanyo and it is very nice. He refuses to upgrade to lcd or plasma now that he got a new job because the contrast is so frikkin good on a crt.

I have had good luck with mine but again, you get what you pay for!  $299 shipped free is hard to beat for a widescreen HDTV...

Not bad of a price for a 30in, but too bad it's crt.  I sold my last Zenith hdtv crt due to space issue.  That sucker too so much room, it was crazy when the same size lcd too it's place.  Now I am just patiently wait for my rear projector tv to go out so I can get an lcd to replace that.  Then I will be set.

Don't get me wrong, crt especially hdtv ones are great, but space was more important to me especially with the tv being in a small room.
