Anyone know where I can get a Defender coin door for my cabinet? Will any upright Williams coin door fit? I have just the door but I'm looking for a full replacement with working mechs. Or I'd be willing to just buy the mechs if they were available. I checked Ebay and saw 2 pinball Williams coin doors for sale but I'm not sure if they'll fit my upright cab. Still waiting for email responses from the sellers. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! |

coin mech are quite universal. Here's some: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260146193804&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016 For a defender cab, look for midway coin door on ebay if you need one. If yours is fully working just without the mech, I would just grab some mechs. |

Would an original Williams pinball coin door work to replace a Williams arcade Defender door? There are two on Ebay that look just like a Defender door but I have no clue if they would work. I emailed both sellers but neither has got back to me yet. Maybe one of you out there know the answer. Cheers! |

I'm assuming and pointing out that everyone is talking about a stainless steel style door, right? Just to clairify, early Defender's came with a SS style door, while later Defender's came with the black 'pinball' style Coin Control's door, right? Rick |

Coin mechs are pretty much universal. If the door from Williams pinball looks the same (almost the same), I would assume it would fit. Defender was Williams as well, so I think they would use the same parts. My Midway Omega Race coin door is exactly the same as Pac-man door, for example. |
