I just watched a commercial that I thought was too funny not to share.
Miller did a "survey" of Bud Light drinkers, and found that "over 1/3 of them preferred Miller Lite to Bud Light".

2 out of 3 people don't prefer your product, and you think that's a good thing?
Go figure.

Donkey_Kong:
I wish .000003 of the 1/3 liked my product....Profit!  ;D

shardian:
Technically, they were trying to say they were able to steal 33% of dedicated bud drinkers in a head to head taste test. Still, it does sound funny.

shmokes:
Yeah . . . I think the point was, 100% of Miller drinkers like Miller better, and even 33% of bud light drinkers like miller better.  It sounds like the commercial is maybe not especially effective, though.

Jouster:
That's what happens when you employ the right ad agency.

Ad agency 1: "2/3 of the people surveyed kicked us to the curb!"

Ad agency 2: "1/3 of these people loved us!"

Ad agency 3: "We....hiccup...could use shome more...testing material...please....hiccup!"

See...it's all a matter of perspective.
