Dire Radiant:
Five posts so far and not one of them with any trace of punctuation. I'm going to be kind and assume that you're disabled and have trouble using a keyboard. The alternative is too horrible to think about.

well sorry i am dyslexic and can't help it. Just run away with it sometimes. I am sorry if it means that much to you i just wanted a bit of help.
CheffoJeffo:
What do you have set up so far ? (e.g. can you boot to Windows on your arcade monitor ?)

Letting us know what you have working is important, then we can better help you.

Also, make sure that you check the Front Ends page in the wiki.

On my first MAME cab, I used MAME32 until I got MAMEWah properly configured. Since then I have used MaLa exclusively.

Well, wait a second ... you're trying to drive an arcade monitor off of a notebook VGA ?

While I'm pretty sure that I can futz my video drivers to produce a 15Khz signal from one of my notebooks (and, quite frankly, I won't bother to try), that is far from a foregone conclusion for all notebooks.

Before we get into what you need, you should tell us what you have ... I am guessing:

JPac (OK, not much of a guess)
Standard Res Arcade Monitor

If that is the case, then you need to be able to push a signal at 15Khz, not 31Khz (VGA). The JPac does not do this conversion for you.
