Help with 27" EYGO Monitor
Lilwolf:
One more thing to add... If you swap monitors, you want to have the monitor set to standard monitor 1200x1024 (and it will always force the 60hz). Then you can select 640x480 and swap monitors... otherwise you have troubles with it tyring to do 640x480@hi hz
Also, I've only found 3 resolutions. All good for emulation (but with hardware stretching, I don't change it anymore).
640x480@60
320x240@60
320x200@60

Windows safe mode doesn't work. I guess I'll try the switch from 1200x1024 and see if this works.

I found an easier way to force 60hz refresh rate. Right click on desktop and select settings tab. Select advance button. Select adapter tab. There will be a drop down box with refresh rates. I'll try this out tommorow and see if this does the trick. Thanks for all the help!!!
Lilwolf:
Actually, I started doing this, but it doesn't save.
IE, when using my standard VGA, I use 1024x768. When I would change it to 640x480, it would go back to 85hz. It was a configuration nightmare. The only way to get it to work was to switch it when the EYGO monitor was connected (and scrolling)... ie, not good
Then I went and forced all refreshes to 60 (telling windows that my monitor only supports this) and everything started working well switching back and forth.
