Please identify this sit-down racer ? => It's a Konami GT cockpit !
Level42:
1)
The seller had put the cab outside already
2)
Of course my son Mark is the first to "testdrive" the cab when we arrived.
3)
Loaded up. This cockpit only has wheels under the monitor part (SW CP has four wheels). Have to lift it to get it rolling but it works pretty well, actualy easier to handle then an upright with the same set-up of wheels, because the weight is much lower to the ground. Lifting it on the trailer wasn't very hard.

Ready for return-trip, but first the seller shows me his collection........more on that further down....
2)
It was a long ride, and a bit bumpy sometimes, but we made it home alright !
3) Inside
Level42:
1)
Just gas, seems potentiometer controlled
2)
Seat, a LOT more comfortable than Star Wars CP ! Dirty, dirty, dirty....
3)
Monitor is a Hantarex 19". PCB to the left. Looks like a JAMMA adapter !
Power supply (Hantarex 200) on the bottom.

You can always repad and revinyl that seat. It is actually pretty easy to do. I redid all of the seats in a boat once and it went pretty quick. Of course, you could also add padding the the SW - you know, like it should have been in the first place. (Cheapskate manufacturers )
Level42:
::)1) Better look at the Hantarex Power Supply. I've dealt with one of those puppy's before in my (now sold) Double Dragon....
2)
Before storing the cab, I removed the PCB set for some good cleaning. The monitor looks even dirtier than the PCB and I wonder if it's any use to try and fix it. I already discovered a cap (elco) that has a nice round topside.....anyway, I could use a TV, or maybe my old 20" PC monitor...
3) Yugh !
