Ooooh.  SUPER call!  They are the first one I've seen here that can measure up to The Eagles' success.

Lindsay Buckingham - some good stuff.
Christy McVee - did some eh stuff.
Stevie Nicks - big time hits.
Mick Fleetwood - acting was more his thing.
John McVee - parasite (living off the others)    ;)

Yep.  But if you saw in the link posted above, John McVee, Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green all came through John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.  These guys were the "original" Fleetwood Mac.

Ah, but did Bluesbreakers enjoy widespread commercial success like the Eagles or Mac?  That's part of the equation here. . .

Nope, you're probably right there.  But still it is amazing the artists that have been in that band.

Nah, the Bluesbreakers have never been as popular as the artists that have departed the band.  They've had a couple of gold records and you'll still hear a few of their songs on oldies rock radio from time to time.  John Mayall released an album ~2001 called "Along for the Ride" and the expression on his face says it all.

Uh...yeah, that's what I was agreeing to above.
