| More help with wiring up a steering wheel in MAME |
| (1/1) |
| scuzzie:
Could someone help me identify what wire does what or goes where in the attached Steering Wheel Assembly. It is a Midway Happ Controls Model 50-8593-00 The steering column has, I think, a pot at the end of it so I guess this makes it an anlogue wheel?? This has 3 wires coming from it, red, black and a yellow with a black stripe. The force feed back unit has a red and a black. Initially, I would just like to know how to connect the wheel up and ignore the forece feedback if this is possible. I'm assuming that it somehow, (the 3 wires from the steering column), have to be wired to an A-Pac, (thanks pcolson and others), but what gets wired to where . . . . Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this problem . . . . |

The input wire is in the center. You can test which is ground using an multimeter, Dave has instructions http://dave.bit2000.com/ on his AKI wiring page. If you can tell which is which from the wires that are already there, then it's done. Paul |
