Xarcade Trackball

I was looking at a cheap way to get a trackball into my ontrol panel. I only really need it to act as a mouse.
I see the Xarcade tracball is cheap and comes in a complete assembly.
Could I take the trackball and buttons out of this assembly and mount it in my own design into my control panel?
I'd still use the supplied USB to connect it to my PC.

That would work, but how much is it gonna cost?
There are other alternatives that are cheap too.

Other alternatives are a mouse hack and a $25 trackball but overall the x arcade for 49.95 with mailin rebate is a solid buy and lots of people have transplanted the x arcade trackball and interface into their cabs.

Try THE book,
And I have a new page on my mouse hack on my site (link in my sig).
On my mouse hack page there's a link to another site that I used
as well.
Willing to PM back-and-forth to help if need be, just let me know...
