Somewhere I've run across a picture of a MAME cab that is about what you are looking for....unfortunately I don't recall where I ran across it. Basically the person built a standalone sub cab and mounted the steering wheels, shifters, and pedals onto. You could slide it up in front of the regular upright cab and hook up a couple of quick connections to play driving games. I'd like to do something similar eventually. Right now, I just use my two trackballs to play games like Super Sprint, but it's definitely missing that fun feel of just throwing a full 360 steering wheel around and watching your car go skidding sideways around corners! EDIT: Aha! This isn't the one I remember, but it gets the idea across.... |

I knew I wanted pedals before I built my machine, so I planned for it and have pedals permanently fitted: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,18812.0.html (Edit: bottom of Page 1 for pedals, Page 3 for wheel) My steering wheel(s) are on removable panels of course. |
