Once you marry them you know why...It's so they can tell you they are too tired for rugburns.

well, dude and his sidekick came to do the carpet today. its a public holiday in brisbane (show day) today. so i left him with a spare key and here i am at an internet cafe in surfers paradise where its not a holiday. he had a nice shiner. i dont feel so sorry for him now. looking at him you can see he just got really drunk, said something stupid about some rugby players girlfriend, and then paid the price  ;) .

went to an arcade here (main reason i came here, too cold for the beach). they have stacks of mostly new games. and some old ones. played one called 'ice cold beer' where you have to raise and lower a bar with a steel ball on it and guide the ball into the appropriate holes. each turn is a higher hole and more 'dead' holes. you get more redemption tickets the higher you get. well, 'virtual' tickets anyway, since all the games are on a swipe card thingy- even a 1970s quick draw gun game! funny, cos the swipe mechanism would be magnitudes more complicated than the game! also played house of the dead 4 and family guy pinball. if you havent seen family guy pinball its really cool. it has a mini pinball game in the top right hand corner. not so unusual i guess but this is scaled down. so the flippers and balls are about half size. very cool (",) just had lunch, check my emails and then im back to the arcade...

I can soooo relate to this! I came home yesterday after a days hard work to find my wife looking like  :badmood:
She had suddenly decided to clean the whole house and blamed me for the hard work. It's not like our apartment is dirty or anything (we have a housekeeper) but she absolutely had to dust everything twice and blamed ME for making the dust! I offered to help but she said that she had to clean twice if i did that  :-[  I don't like a dirty house myself but I don't want to live in a hospital grade cleanroom either  :dunno
