You got that right CG.  When we pulled up the old carpet to lay down tile there was a ton of sand and dust and the old pad had been ground to a powder in places.  I will never install wall to wall carpet again.  It is tile or wood floors from now on.

thats the tradesmans job. and yeah, im a fan of tiles myself. if it were my place i certainly wouldnt be replacing carpet with MORE carpet...

I bought my wife a vacuum for her last birthday...and she liked it! ;D

It was a Roomba BTW. Those things kick ass. Every time she uses it I get a thank you, especially with the baby taking up most of her time.

ChadTower:

My wife keeps breaking vacuums.  We barely even have any carpet, too, but somehow she manages to break the vacuums.  Passive aggression at its finest.

Chris G:
How do you even go about breaking a vacuum?  Sucking up loose pinballs?

When I was a kid, Bloodsport was my favorite movie. Remember when Tang Po hold the guy up, then kicks him in the knee and turns it inside out? Well I was playing around imitating that scene using the vacuum and accidentally kicked for real and broke the upright handle in half. ;D I tried putting it back together with scotch tape and hoped noone would notice. :laugh2: :laugh2:
