Got my Marquee light today and whilst i may be a while off fitting it, I have a dumb newbie question (or two!) The light strip has 2 sockets for the wiring block to go into - which one does the supplied wire block fit into? Also, the wire on the block is very short - where do I connect this too? I assume the PC power supply, so which is the best type of wire to run to it? (I am a total electronics newbie, so better get reading I reckon!) Thanks, Paul. |

It's intended for an eventual pass-thru cable for multiple unit installations. --- Quote ---Also, the wire on the block is very short - where do I connect this too? Use wire with a power rating rather than "speaker wire" to be safe. Connect the red cable to a 12v line of your PC power supply and the black wire to Ground. You can use one of your drive cables (normally the yellow wire is +12v and Black on the same connector is Ground.) RandyT |

the pass thru cable sounds interesting, do you think it would take 2 or 3 to light this gem that i received today? This is going to be a fun one to build a shadowbox for. |
