I'm considering trying the new Daphne -- I got the 1.0 beta and it downloaded a big DL file somewhere, but when I run it, it asks for an original DVD. I see a lot of new packaged DVD's for sale on Amazon from $10-$20, however I'm worried about the requirement to leave the DVD in the drive as a key. My MAME cabinet has one crappy, unreliable DVD drive under the hood, not enough for all the games I want to buy and play. If I buy the DVD's is it possible to rip them into an ISO file or something, and then play then on a "virtual drive" using something like Virtual DAEMON Manager? Jason |

All I did is network share the upstairs DVD, threw the discs in there and mapped the drive on the cab. No problemo. |

Does anyone have a link to digital leisure to the latest/greatest/best DVDs you can use with Daphne? As you aere all aware, there's quite a few different versions out. Thanks! B |
