| Tv in mame cabinet=blurryness ? |

| DcMaN:
I recently put a 24" sanyo tv in the cabinet, and ever since windows is very blurry, it is very hard to read text. The tv has component input 480i. Right now i have it hooked up to svideo, im wondering if i change it to a component wire if the blurryness will decrease ? Or is there something else i need to do? Games seem to look OK, however it is hard to see what game you want to play due to the text being blurry. Is there anythign i can do to fix this ? |

I could be wrong but any tv has pretty low resolution I had a 31" for a while and it was blurry, now I have a 60" and its very blurry, just for text though, but my 42" plasma looks supreme, I guess thats price you pay to have a real monitors resolution. |

damn thats what i was hoping you wouldnt say :( . Think it would be worth it to use a DVI > component cable ? |

I have a 27 inch tv and for my purposes, it looks good. Windows is blurry, but thats just a part of it. I use GameEx for my front end and I can see everything quite clearly and it looks sharp. I use a Tron theme with GameEx. What front end are you using? A guess would be Mame32 since you are talking about picking games from Windows. Most of them look great but Mame32 isn't going to look good on a 24 inch tv. You may check the wiki for different front ends if you are using Mame32. |

ill keep that in mind, i havn't exactly set up a frond end yet, because i was debating on what to use but ill check out game ex it looks pretty cool. |
