Get rid of Michael Vick CONTACT INFO UPDATE
Jouster:
The article I read said that the NFL asked the Falcons to hold off...and that they were ready to sit Vick for at least 4 games.

They aren't waiting on facts, they're waiting on advice from the attorneys as the best way to get rid of him without getting their asses sued off by the Union.

Ding ding ding!
As always, what's interpreted as "the truth" is ultimately nowhere near the truth, and is far more likely to be based on money and the removal of it from another via the legal process.
Although even with Chad pointing this out, it still seems as if Tommy's holding to the idea of "innocent until proven guilty and I'm ignoring the court of public opinion".
I think Tommy forgot the P&R forum here, where "guilt" is demonstrated to be a public opinion poll and perception is held onto for far longer than the time it takes for the innocence to be proven (some, including Tommy, STILL hang onto their own version of "the truth")
shardian:
The reasoning behind the Falcons suspending Vick was because that would have made him eligible for practice. THAT is why Goodell stepped in and said "Not so fast!" ;)
your darn straight the falcons would like to have the multimillion dollar investment on the field.

Yeah, the advice they would and will give will be when the accusations are proven or not. They cannot legally do anything until then.
