IG-88:
Does anyone know of a cheap way to get these to run on a PC monitor? There has to be a way to get it done without costing a bunch. I'm thinking you have to have a TV tuner right? How can you get the RCA connections/signals converted to VGA otherwise?

I guess it depends on what you mean by cheap.  Upscalers usually run about $40 - $60 depending on the quality you need.

It would probably be just about as cheap to buy a new 13" color set at Wal-Mart to use with it, or rescue a TV about to be dumped by someone who's upgrading to HD.

I guess by cheap I was guessing between the 10 - 20 dollar range. As for new 13" TV's they are becoming kinda scarce at my WalMart and Craigslist isn't much help to me either. Besides, I got all these damn 15" PC monitors to get rid of......

to me there'd be no point in a hardware solution via PC because you could just play MAME instead. upscalers are the only other choice besides snaggin up an el cheapo used TV
