Mame games
« on: July 05, 2007, 10:56:06 pm »
I have alot of games that I already like, but are their games that are a MUST have that I could be missing.  I haven't installed anything but mame32.  I heard of kawaks and daphne.  I'm just wondering if there is something that I could be missing out on.

Do what I did: Go thru the ENTIRE list one by one and create a custom list that filters out the crap and keeps the stuff you find interesting. If you do a letter a day, it really doesn't take that long.

I would say the Daphne games, especially Space Ace and Dragon's Lair, are must-haves.  But it's all personal preference.

Heh, I'm doing the letter a day method too.  S might take 2 days.  For instant gratification check out Lady Killer - I love it.  It's an adult game though but the gameplay is excellent.

I'm working on my MAME list, but there's a game I need that may or may not exist. Has anyone ever seen a working rom of the four player version of Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara? That's a game I really must have for four player action, but all I have is one or two player versions. I'm sure I saw a four player version in the arcades.

I may be the only person in the world who thinks this, but I don't like ANY of the Mr. Do! games.

I believe there is a dip switch setting to turn it into 4 player.

I can't believe I didn't think of that before.  :dizzy:

Thanks, Jimmy, that did the trick! I haven't used MAME in years.

Very good list,  I have to add **Baseball Stars 2** from the NEO GEO collection.  Thats probably still my favorite baseball game of all time.  WAY ahead of its time.
