Not everywhere... unless you're moving something only a couple of miles, here you can't get a rental truck for less than around $50 once you're done with tacked on costs like mileage.  I usually end up renting a pickup from Enterprise at about $75 since I rarely move anything a short distance.

I checked and it's 60 miles round trip for me.  So with U-Haul, it's going to be $20 + $1/mile + gas = around $100.

You're definitely better off going with Enterprise or something like that.  You'll pay around $70 and have unlimited miles, a much nicer truck, and good service.  Uhaul has horrible service and treats customers like crap.

They charge $1/mile!!!!

I will say that Uhaul is very reasonable with their trailer hitch installed. They installed a hitch and wiring for me for the same cost of the parts I could have gotten elsewhere.

Well if you have a car with a trailer hitch, you could rent one of there trailers for $20 w/o the added mileage.
