| 12v power question with PIC |

| urbecrisch:
I'm curious if I can use my PC to power up my coin lamps (LED) or if I should use my power supply powering my arcade monitor. I already have 12v power from my PC to my trackball (Lightmite). Can I split the same wire to power my coin lamps or should I use the 12v coming from my external power supply (PIC1)? I just don't want to damage anything giving too much juice from the same source. |

Just be sure to use the right voltage lamp/LED for whatever voltage you put to them. i.e. 5v or 12v, etc |
