Saw "Transformers" last night...

Um....I pretty much just listed how I could think it was bad.

SirPeale:
As stated before: he wasn't 2 feet tall when he folded into the cell phone.  He was just the head.

As for the lubricant thing...yeah, I didn't care for that scene.  But it's just a small piece of a bigger picture.

Giant freaking transforming robots.  Transformers!  What's not to like?

btp2k2:
If that thing was a cell phone, he should be as small as that little Nokia-bot thing that they made with the allspark in that room.

In the final fight scene in the computer room, it is clearly much bigger than that Nokia-bot.

Even before his head got knocked off, Frenzy stood more than half the height of Sam...as seen when they were fighting. That is at very least 3 feet. So a three foot robot could change into a boombox?

And as far as the transforming, I thought the effect was kind of weak...as was their robotic form. In the original cartoon/comic books, they looked very much like the cars/planes/etc that the changed into. You could see hoods and roofs or cars, airplane wings, etc. These variations just looked like a bunch of junk. And the when they transformed, it looked like they just kind of fell apart and re-assembled in the form of a robot. Like in the cartoon, it made sense....you could actually tell how Prowl or Jazz turned into cars. It wasn't all this extra crap.

You did see the part where Frenzy touched the AllSpark and it regenerated his body, yes?

What did Michael Bay have to do with Godzilla?
