MultiGames Links In The Restoration Page
« on: June 26, 2007, 04:54:04 pm »
I started trying to organize the links in the Restoration page and have a section for MultiGames & Game Enhancements.

After the recent tussle about 48-in-1 auctions, I figured that I should check to see if perhaps I should remove the MultiGame entries. The MultiGames that I have linked are either JAMMA switches or add-ons to original boardsets (e.g. no 48-in-1 or 600-in-1 boards). The ROM issue, however, may be questionable with some of them, so perhaps there is an issue (and this is saint's BBQ, so I defer to the official chef for this event).

Should I remove the MultiGame references ?

Cheers.

EDIT: CRAP -- posted in wrong forum -- can some kind Mod please move this to the Wiki Discussion board, please ?

EDIT2: saint has a related thread:

a least, you could put a warning about these about about these can been bottlegs, not originals (even they maybe not been a mame based boads).

It ok to discuess these things and name them, but just not linking them (otherwice we could not even name MAME at all)? That is what I think would been right. People should easly find them by thier self, when thier first got the name of them....

For the links I added, there should be not bootlegs. They are all add-ons to original boardsets.

But maybe a wirrten paragraph instead of links would be better ... saint ?
