Does that mean I can buy it and then move it to a seperate machine?  I have a steam account on my primary PC, but I wouldnt want to install it on the arcade machine...

I don't think that the possibility of that justifies crossing any lines (or rules)...

I tried you can't.  It looks for steam.

Well I'm not putting Steam on my arcade cab.  I love the concept of anti-piracy software that prevents legitimate users from purchasing the product.  Guess I'll wait for the cracked version.  :laugh2:

AtomSmasher:

I just tried the freeware game Grid Wars 2 and I agree that its perfect for a cab...in fact I'm going to put on my cab right now  :)   I've seen this game talked about before, but never bothered to play it, I see now I was missing out.

GAtekwriter:

I just downloaded Grid Wars 2 and I'm amazed... is there a standard way to run a game like this on a cab that's running MAME?  Can it be incorporated into a FrontLoader so that it loads as seamlessly as other games?

GAT: oh, you were serious. You can't cuss here, not really, but where did anyone say anything?

Grid Wars/cab: um, you mean just by itself? I have it accessible through GameEx (it has an emulator section for .lnk's), but for stand alone I'm sure there's a cmd/DOS way to do it.
