Arcade guns. What do i need to make em work?

That's "all" that's needed for arcade lightguns to work on PCs. A lightgun interface, sort of like the KeyWiz, Ipac, or OptiPac. The problem is the lightgun interface would be more complicated. There was (is?) one out there (r0r3) but no one here tried it, as it's $150 and it doesn't look to be XP compatible. :(
I wonder if this is the same as the one in Buck Hunter, or if there's another one out there. :dunno

All a J-PAC does is interface standard JAMMA controls to your PC, and route video.

well old bean i've used the G-CON 2 on HOTD2 and to say it was shocking wouldn't be a lie !
yeh it shoots and all and sort of works but with a 15" tv and a 20" TV it wasn't brilliant kept juddering etc nothing like the real thing.
also
are you guys saying guns ripped out a proper arcade machine can be used in a mame machine with a adaptor ................ ecplain more im intrested !

What is availalble is the parts from an arcade game that has guns and uses a PC so it is PC compatable. Cost was $150 and no one has tried one due to the cost. Also it was not XP compatable.
