Ebay/PayPal question

Alright, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but ...

I need money to fund this new obsession.  So, I want to sell some stuff on Ebay.  I've bought stuff through ebay before, but I've never sold anything there.  I think I can manage setting up a sellers account and setting up the auction, but I'm not sure what I need to do to accept payments via paypal.  What do I do when the auction ends?  Send them an email?  Do I need a 'premier' paypal account to receive funds through ebay?  Are there paypal basics I need to know to avoid scams?

Also, what I intend to sell is Magic cards.  I got loads of 'em.  Is anybody familiar with selling collectible card games/sports cards on ebay?  Should I take pix of the cards, or scan them for the auction?  What should I ship them in?  I'm not familiar with card grading, so how can I assess these cards?  Is a good picture good enough?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

This is definatly not the forum to be asking these questions.  This isn't even the right site.  You should spend some time on eBay and PayPal to learn the answers to your questions.

all you need for PayPal is a bank account, get one then go to paypal's website and sign up. You put up the auctions and ebay sends the winning bidder an email telling them to pay. Have fun with the non paying bidders and all that jazz. Honestly though, this isnt the type of question for this site, you should be emailing eBay and paypal's "techies"

Appreciate the response.  Was just looking for some information on how the process 'really worked' as opposed to what ebay tells you.

I sold my collection years ago and got a pretty penny mind you, but I still miss it sometimes.  I started buying when legends was out and stopped sometime after ice age.  Good times.
