Black Tiger...Help my brother and me!!
« on: June 09, 2007, 02:38:44 pm »

Hi all!

My brother and me are playing Black Tiger like crazy, but we're stuck at the place where
you have to jump between countless short climb-blocks. There's a fireball-throwing monster
and one of the spinning discs, but when we get to the solid ground up left(with all the
skeletons and flesh-eating flower) there's just an arrow pointing up. But we can't jump
high enough to get to the next platform. We then try to go back down a little to look
for another way, but it just becomes a loop whether we go(jump) left or right....on the small
climb-blocks.

What could we miss?? Is there a secret to jump higher??

Hope this rings a bell for some of you :)

Thanks,

Nicholas

There are a couple spots where if you don't jump perfectly from the last pixel of the edge of the platform, you won't make it. So keep trying.

(Got a screen shot? Your description alone doesn't jog my memory, even though I've finished that game dozens of times)

Hmmm.... I haven't played my Black Tiger board in quite some time, but it seems I got stuck at a very similar spot..... so I quit playing. Would be nice to hear of a trick for that situation.

Near the end of level seven, there is a place where you have to jump up and to the right. It may seem like you cannot make the jump, but to make it you will need to push up and right at the exact time you push jump. Keep holding up and right until you complete the jump and if you do it right, you will sort of appear up on the next platform

Will have to give this a try sometime.

RayB is right. It's a real tight jump. It took me forever to make it. Try jumping with your joystick held at a 45 degree angle and time it perfectly. I think thats how I made it....

Great game.

Don't forget to shoot at all rock faces to find hidden treasures.

The one below I just took to show you what I mean.

That one is right at the very start.
Just head left and shoot the wall.

Good luck!

Oh. Saw the game but didn't play it much, if at all, till Mame. Always wondered about the 'look for hidden treasure' thing. On finding game stuff, I'm surprised no one has mentioned or linked a game codes, etc site. I myself need some info on Strikers 1945.

Move the plane with the joystick. Hit buttons to use weapons. Insert another credit to continuewhen it's game over.

That's basically all you need.

I see. Some of them just take a loong-ass time to charge. Almost not worth it in some cases, perhaps. And only two of them loop, and only when you have a bomb. I think all the planes should loop whenever you don't have a bomb - or, even better, a third button for that. Though I always forget to use loop in 1942 and 43, I find myself often wishing for it, here.
