IIRC: The u360 without a restrictor under a full 3/4" panel needs a bigger hole to hit the full range. A super, competition, p360, and atari/midway/happ 49-way are the same. Routing decreases the needed hole size for full range of course. Getting the u360 with restrictor plates does the same. |

I just drilled a hole in a scrap piece of MDF and checked travel. 1.25" worked for me. Don |

I know this is an old thread, but my question is within the topic at hand, so why not? I have a magstik plus, which has a pretty short throw, and was wondering if anyone knew what size i needed to drill the joystick hole. right now i'm using the standard bat top. I may switch to a balltop.. |

hahaha. It works for me, and I switch between 4 and 8 way enough to justify using one....i suuuuck if I play 4-way games without restriction (which might suggest that I plain suuuuck regardless, but oh well). |
