Ipac problem

AndyWarne:

The I-PAC is definitely not heat-sensitive. If the shift functions are not working then there is an excellent opportunity to troubleshoot the problem because this means there is a "solid" fault to look at. You just need to find out which input is stuck (which disables shift functions). There are 3 ways to do this, test mode, running Ghostkey.exe or with a voltmeter. This is covered in more detail on the page www.ultimarc.com/ipac2.html in the troubleshooting section.
Stuck keys or switches wired to NC instead of NO can sometimes be misleading as they will still appear to work in a game but eventually cause strange problems.
If still no luck, email me as this kind of problem is best attacked with a step-by-step approach best done by email rather than on here.
