Ipac problem
Mike:
I'm having a goofy problem with my ipac now that I rebuilt my cab with windows 2000. The jumper is set to mame to default all the keys but I'm getting goofy keys instead of the mame keys. I had a wireless keyboard plugged into it, I thought that might be the problem but i rebooted a couple times with out it and I'm still having the problem. I made sure the eprom was in all the way also. I don't think it could be a wiring problem since all the keys work they just aren't doing what they are suppose to. Like my player 1 start button is now v instead of 1 and my player 2 start button is ' instead of 2. Anyone who has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try entering test mode and checking for stuck keys? If that does not work your best bet is to email andy directly as he is very helpful and has seen just about all the problems.

im haveing weird issues too , but with mine my keys randomly stop responding in mame or in one instance while playing twin cobra, my player one BOMB button keeps fireing bombs for no reason......its quite strange.
Sadly though ANDY is away until april 22 according to the automated reply i recieved.

have you checked your wiring? it sounds like you could have some wires crossed.

One of the inputs is dead altogether on my Ipac. But luckily I wasn't using them all anyway. I still think it is a great product, and will certainly get another one someday.
