I've got a 3.2 ghz P4HT with 1 gig memory and it still won't run Project64 at any decent reliability or speed, so I stick to the real N64. |

Hordes of people are running Project64 satisfactorily with a LOT less machine than this. You apparently have some other issue. |

I have a 2.4 Ghz 1gig ram with an NVIDIA GeForceFX 5200. I believe its a 128 MB video card. I've been playing Project 64 for a long time and it runs fine on single player 99% of the time. Sometimes while playing 3-4 person smash brothers with my roommates it will freeze. |

I still think you'd want a processor that's slightly better. Plus you didn't mention what KIND of processor it was. If it's a Celeron... :P That also makes a difference. |

I do know that an fx card is the bottle neck in your rig abrownbear. I usually do n64 emulation on a 5700 that is very much overclocked, and it still has problems in multiplayer on some games. Ive actually clocked more frames with a ti4000 than the 5700, but the latter has a tv tuner in it so it stays in the hometheater pc. |
