| Hacking Microsoft Dual Strike to Chase HQ |
| (1/1) |
| HE-MAN:
Allright, I got a Microsoft Dual Strike from ebay to use as interface to the steering wheel on my Chase HQ. I follow the guide att this site http://1uparcade.robandmitsue.com/projects-dualstrike.html But I can't get it to work, I most have put the cable wrong somewhere. This is how the wheel look like http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y174/baby_eye/P1010020.jpg I guess that the 2 cable with two colors on upper PCB (left/right optic sensor PCB) should stick to two off the left/right pot on the Dual Strike PCB. And the only two color cable from the lower PCB in the picture (center optic sensor PCB) should stick to the left/right pot too. If this is right? In that case how should this 3 cable be connected to the 3 cable at the left/right pot on the Dual Strike PCB? I mean in what order. And where should I connect the rest of the cable from the 2 PCB of the steering wheel seen in the pic (1 red and 1 black on the center optic sensor PCB and 1 red and 1 black on the left/right optic sensor PCB). So Im really stuck here.. Glad for all help I can get :) |
