markymarky99:
Rare NFL pinball machine, totally shopped out, new rubbers, entire playfield and plastics cleaned, plays perfect as it should.  Need 4000.00 for the machine.  NY GIANTS currently, but you can change it and make it whatever team you want.   email  sales@markades.com if serious,  will NOT take lower offers, this machine will sell for 5k easy when football starts.  Thanks, GAME ON.

thanks for your advice genius,  for space purposes, I'd like to move the machine.  I offered the good people that visit this board a discount here on a rare machine.  those who are NFL fans , could care less about how the game plays.  this is for WEALTHY people who like having something that no one else has.  NFL is the lowest produced STERN machine.  It's interesting that you speak for EVERYONE who may visit this website, must be nice to KNOW EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.  Please, tell us where you gained such knowledge ?

That sounds like someone I want to buy a complex used machine from.

FWIW, in terms of pinball market value, pinballjim was dead accurate.

Here at BYOAC we look after our own.  Your price is way, way, way above market value unless you have a Medieval Madness hidden inside the NFL body someplace.

Seeing as how the latest Pirates of the Carribean, Family Guy, and the upcoming Spiderman sell brand NIB for $4995, I don't see how a NFL would sell for $4000, unless it's to a Giants fan who has more money than sense.

I think it's funny that, seeing as we sell pinballs both old and new all the time, we NEVER get people asking for an NFL pinball.  We get lots of requests for Addams Family, MM, South Park, Theatre of Magic, etc... NEVER NFL.

The reason the production run was so low has nothing to do with value.  It ran low because:

1)  It was limited to certain markets.  People in Dallas didn't want to buy a Giants one, for instance.
2)  It wasn't as fun as advertised.  Too much similarity to past pinballs.
3)  It wasn't selling, so the production was cut short.

And before you question my "qualifications", we've been selling and servicing pinballs since 1989.  We are higher-priced than a lot of people because we shop games out completely, warranty our work, offer trade-backs for life, and sell at retail.  Even so, a nice NFL would sell in our shop for probably $2500-3000, but that's because we sell for retail.  We have plenty of customers who could write everyone in the US a check for $1000 and still have money.  Funny how none of them own an NFL.  Monopoly?  Yes.  Addams Family?  Yes.  LOTR?  Yes.  NFL?.  No....
