Gridwars (Gemoetry Wars Clone)

I found a great free game for arcade cabinets. Its called Gridwars and is a clone of the Xbox360 Arcade Geometry Wars.

The controls in this game is what makes this game so great, and innovative. The controls are simple. 1 joystick steers the player, and another controls where you aim. Simple, mindless, fun.

Though this game was first released on a Current-Gen console, its has an amazing sense of old school retro gameplay spliced with amazing graphics. The graphics take on a neon, Bladerunner-style, and when the game starts to get into the high levels, it takes the form of an interactive, hyperactive laser light show.

The user-interface is not exactly user-friendly. It works, but just a bit buggy and confusing. Setting up your control panels joystick may seem like its not really working, but after a bit of tinkering its running just fine.

This game will sure to be getting plenty of hours on my new bartop cabinet. I absoultly love the nostalgia in the fresh, graphicly impressive game.
