Webcam advice

horseboy:
I have been thinking about getting a couple of webcams and putting one at work and the other at home. I just want to be able to see and talk to my daughter a couple of times a day. First, advice on brand or particular model would be nice, although this isn't really that important as I can probably figure this one out.

The real question I have here is what service should I use to accomplish this task? Safety is a concern, as I don't want to have hackers peeping in on me and the secretary.  >:D Seriously, though, safety is important. Also, convenience  ease of use should factor in as well. In the reading I have done it seems using the MSN video messaging service would be a good choice. It should be pretty safe and relatively easy to use, but the big plus is that it is supposed to allow you to view in full screen.

Shout those opinions out. Thanks.

I wanted to get that set up when my first kid was born, but that was 1998, and the technology just wasn't there yet.

Chris G:
You've got your own secretary?  Sweet!  What's his name?

psik0tik:
most messengers now have video...that would be your best bet.

Do they have audio as well? I don't want to see my girls, but have to type to communicate.
