my last call for help on my Ms Pac Man - FIXED!!!
« on: November 09, 2006, 03:19:28 pm »
I am still having issues with my machine, and have tried every way possible to get this fixed (have sound, video not working - worked fine until July of this year).

Please don't send any more "did you try..."  I've tried virtually everything suggested from this board and others, and I simply need someone who can take time out of their busy schedule to help a fellow gamer.

Is there anyone at all in the DE/MD area who can physically look at the machine and assist?  Thank you.

After a year, I'm back with............ SUCCESS!!

I found a local repair shop which I have recommended out on my main site, www.beforethedarktimes.com

They are called Wilmington Home Amusements, and they replaced my monitor and chassis board for $300, and the machine was fixed in 24 hours!

I highly recommend this place- you can check them out at www.wilmingtonamusements.com

Thanks to all who attempted to lend a hand here for me last year in my time of suffering.

I don't know if the monitor was reconditioned or not, but he did tell me that when he saw the burn-in on the one in mine when I got there, his words were "I just always swap one of those out with a 'new' monitor".  The unit definitely looks brand new so I'd be surprised if it was a reconditioned unit.  And it's a million times cleaner than the one that came out!

I am so happy after all of the down-time.

Hey, they fixed my machine, which I've been playing every day ever since..  So for all I care, they could have an old Geocities page.   :D
