I don't think there is any way I would ditch that pinball. It is in better shape than 90 percent of the pins I play on location, and EVERYONE loves it. |

Now the only problem is keeping from beating the hell out of it because I play it so much. My robotron has taken a LOT of abuse over the years, including getting the control panel kicked in by one of my friends during a heated compitition at work. --- End quote --- Even Eugene Jarvis - the creator of Robotron - talked about slamming the cabinet into the wall while playing. That game that drives us all to madness I tell you! |
Chris:
Robotron plays great in MAME, though. The opportunity here is to get a game that doesn't play well in MAME, or where the cabinet adds so much to the game it's not the same without it. In that category, I put (presuming you're staying with classics): - Tron - Spy Hunter - Starship 1 - Lunar Lander - Subroc 3D - Battlezone - Pole Position - Atari Football Or, if you can find it: - Death Race Of course, none of these are on your list... --Chris |

I amost got a Subroc a while back, but I changed my mind on the deal because they are supposed to be a maintenance nightmare. I won't touch amy vectors, and Atari Football takes up too much space. I already opted on Roadblasters over Spyhunter and Pole. I have no memorys of paying Tron, so that isn't too interesting to me. That does leave Starship I on the list. =) |
