There is indeed an Atari 8 bit game, and IIRC it was known under two different names. (I'm hoping I'm not mixing it up with StarRaiders though.) |

yeah sadly the only one that did exist was in the film and it was destroyed (as said above) The game was developed a small amount but was never finished and is probably buried in an Atari data vault somewhere as I believe they own it. If you search these forums on on the net you will however find a remake of the game which is pretty darned good, and there was a guy on this forum who was building what looked like it was going to be a good machine (I lost the thread so ever saw how it got) but he had an awesome last starfighter startup screen and background :D |
