update on the KE72 t encoder from hagstrom. I have been in contact with them, due to some folks asking if I had the manual and driver cd. I could not find those so i contacted hagstrom as to where i could locate the software and manual. They replied asking what model I have, and what is written on the IC chip. So here is their response:

"Dear NIVO,

    Thank you for your email. Due to the age of the unit, we would highly recommend that you send in the unit for an upgrade. There have been several changes and added features done in the last 8 years. We offer a program where you can send the unit to us and we will perform the following:

1.) Make any upgrades to the board and/or firmware.
2.) Run a complete test to ensure proper operation and make any repairs if needed.
3.) Return the unit with all current documentation and load programs.
4.) Provide our standard one year warranty.

   This service would be $25 plus shipping and the turn around time would be 24 hours or less. Basically, it would be like getting a brand new unit. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

So with that bit of news, which is very good in my opinion(they have outstanding customer support), I will drop the price to $65 shipped. Again this is still a brand new unit. If you were to buy from the website, it will cost you $139.99
