Ya, but Stone Cold was just great to watch back in the day. He had all the attitude for a while, but that promo with the Austin 3:16 is definitely what sent him through the roof.

ChadTower:

By then, a lot of fans were already following him very closely, after the promos he cut directly at Bischoff and Hogan in ECW.  They were some of the first to really openly expose backstage info on major names from other companies, and probably the first that actually mattered, given the rest were from guys like Pillman and Heyman.  IMO, the "Austin was born at KOTR" thing has a lot of WWE revisionism to it.

Clearly a product of hardcore wrestling. I give you "Sick" Nick Mondo...

Clearly not great wrestling stuff, but it is always fun to watch a trainwreck. I can't believe all those hardcore indy idiots started using friggin' lightbulbs. And they use them all the time, crazy ---daisies---.

ChadTower:

I've been hit with those a few times.  You barely feel it, the glass is so thin.  The gas that comes out is actually worse if you don't hold your breath.  You have to really grind that glass into your skin to get a real cut from it.  That's why all of the backyard idiots use so many of them.

That sick ---fudgesicle--- actually LET that guy hit him with a weed whacker??? I wondered if it was real in the video, but wikipedia confirmed that he allowed it to happen.

Funny though, the final line of Wikipedia says the dude is a Blockbuster sales associate now. Glad destroying his body paid off.
