Did the cab have a messed up footing, that you replaced; or did you put it on to make it taller?

Knievel:

Yea the footings were rotten on both cabinets.

I built stronger ones out of 2x4's instead of the 3/4" ply and laminated them. Should last forever.

how did you laminate the front?  Did you take it apart and but it back together or what?

Knievel:

Yea I did it after I took all the bolts out of the cabinet. It was so loose I could seperate the sides enough to slip it out. Here's a before/after shot..

It's amazing how nice the laminate cleans it up.  Does a pattern/flush bit cut through it like butter?
