Actually, I disagree.
Tragedy such as this is often the necessary catalyst provoking debate/change which might help prevent such a horrific thing from reoccurring in the future.
Without learning from what has happened ultimately results in these poor people dying without purpose. (Purpose is probably the wrong choice of word but I think my point is clear.)

I agree and would actually like to discuss the belief that guns are the cause of this type of violence. It should probably be done in P&R though.

I am glad to hear that you and your buddies are ok HarumaN (well i spose as 'OK' as one could be given what has just happened at your college).
I turned on the tv here this about 7am this morning (Sydney channel 7) and was greeted by news reports of the shooting. My first thoughts were how awful and to offer up a thought/ prayer for those affected. :'(

My wife just called me and told me about some stuff she saw on the tube. She saw an interview with the ER doctor that treated the survivors... he said the he didn't treat a single victim with less than 3 gunshot wounds. That isn't to say that he treated all the survivors, bet the several that he did treat had 3 gunshot wounds a piece.
She also saw an interview with a student that was in a classroom in the building. He said they barracaded the door when they started hearing the shots. The gunman tried to get in but could only get the door to open a few inches, so he stuck his arm in and started randomly firing. They slammed the door shut again, and then he just started unloading into the door. He stopped for a second and they heard a clip hit the ground and another inserted into the gun. I am not sure if he shot at them anymore or not, but they heard him walk down the hall and start shooting elsewhere. Thankfully nobody was killed in that room.
I guess it is safe to say that this guy reloaded multiple times.
