I would definitely lose about 4" in width. That will let you use an uncut piece of 4x8, and will completely solve the "should I use a circular saw/table saw/jigsaw to cut my CP" dilemma. The correct answer will now be "NO! I'd make a second tier of controls that would swing up from the bottom of the CP when needed, and would include steering wheels, shifters, SW yoke and light guns. |
