--- Quote ---BYOAC involves much more than MAME
--- End quote ---

--- Quote ---BYOAC encompasses arcade controls, game console controllers (used on your PC, or arcade controls on your console), shareware and commercial game software (there are hundreds of excellent games out there that work well with arcade controls), jukeboxes, authentic arcade machines, and much much more

Yah...he DOES say "Make Offer".  If it said something like "Looking for $600/obo" or "Offers over $400 will be considered" or "$500 firm",  that would be one thing.  Hell,  even "Reasonable offers considered" would cover it.  "Make offer" invites exactly what he got...though I can understand Sheridan's point as well.  Though "PM all offers" would also make things clear.

CheffoJeffo:
I have so many problems with this thread (like the lack of tommy quotes) and, somewhat surprisingly  ;D, not many of them are with pinballjim and his offer.

Apparently, unlike everybody else, I started getting ticked with the OPs "pictures upon serious request" line. That set the tone for me, so perhaps I was more inclined to entertain PBJ's point of view.

Is it a low offer ? Yes.

Was it out of line ?  Not by a long shot. The seller asked for offers. He did not ask for offers by PM nor set a baseline price. I see a MsPac that needs work to get to the $500 level (and I too think that the replacement CPO looks off). My opinion, of course, and I was happy to keep it to myself for most of the day and watch everybody else pick on PBJ.

The way I see it, there ain't no way to get a good deal if you don't ask ...

Cheers.

markt:
I agree with those who think $150.00 was a lowball offer, at the coin op auction in Columbus last month all the old school games went high- $600.00 and up.
Not all were in great condition so obviously somebody wants them and is willing to pay $$$.
But there is nothing wrong with a lowball offer.
The cheaper you can get it the better for you, all the seller has to do is say no.

AwesomeAlbert:
What are you selling again?

I think people here lost track of things. You want $150 for it? yes ? no? move on people.
