Looking for a friend of mine

I know of a guy who lives in Maine named Randy. He is the manager of some business. His employee Donny Baker is always calling up Bob and Tom on the radio and talking to them. Then Randy yells at Donny to get off the phone.

I think Donny wrote a song about him too.

While we are on the subject... I am looking for friend of mine as well.

His name is Chin, and he lives in Hong Kong. If anybody knows him, have him call me.

If you're looking for someone to identify him and send him your way, that won't work.  That's the joke, right?  That's great.

If, on the other hand, you have reason to believe he might be here, and that he'd know, upon reading the message, that he's the one you're looking for, then there's a chance he'll read the message and get in touch with you.  That's kind of what I'm going for here.  Still seems like a longshot, huh?

A last name might help narrow things down.

Sadly, I don't know it.  If I did, I could probably track him down a lot more easily.

I understand that people who would like to help don't have much of anything to go on - I don't have much to go on, either.  If I had his last name I most likely wouldn't need to resort to this kind of a shot-in-the-dark approach.  (Even if the basic process has the potential to work - what if somebody tried looking for me this way, right?  Maybe I'd see the message - if I happened to log on to the forums that year...  Trust me, I know how unlikely it is this will work.  :) )
