What size are holes for leaf buttons?

They'll be going into a metal CP, so maybe I can just file out the slots so I don't have to buy another hole saw or punch (1-1/8" is tough enough to find).
Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way when my leaf buttons didn't fit after drilling 15 holes in my MAME cab's CP. :(
I bought a big lot of used buttons off of eBay a while back and figured I'd use them for my cocktail. Some of them look like new. Most don't. Most are the type used on Williams cabs (some of them are Joust blue and pale yellow). I believe these were Wico buttons.
