MAME Keyboard Mapping
« on: March 24, 2007, 10:11:54 pm »
How do I make the keyboard mapping in the Mame Player 1 controls permanent?  I've gone into this menu by hitting the TAB key, then Player 1 Controls, and reset some of the defaults to how I have my keyboard mapped, but the settings have reset to the default and I'm not sure why.  Thanks.

I JUST had this problem, and was correctly informed that my cfg files were probably read only.  They live in the cfg subfolder.

Thanks - I will check that.  I will be surprised if this is the case as I don't think I've ever changed the folder properties in XP ... but will check.
