childhood memories - destroyed!
BobbyG66:
I loved the movie Space Balls.
Watched it again and it did not seem as funny.
Maybe I was in a bad mood or something...
Sure, there are some great lines and some funny moments.
I was going to buy the DVD, but now I am glad I just rented it...

For example, there is a scene in the SE with the land speeder coming over the top of the screen and heading for the outskirts of Mos Eisley. It appears in the original version on the re-release.....very disappointing...just to make sure it wasn't in the actual orginal, I popped in my VHS version from 1992 and sure enough....the scene wasn't there.

My only question is: Did Han shoot first on the re-released DVDs?

Not a very bright business man either. He sold Pixar to Steve Jobs for 10 million. Disney bought it for 7.4 billion.

Back in the 70s when the first Star Wars was coming out Lucas secured all of the merchandising rights to the Star Wars movies.
Just the merchandising profits alone made him filthy rich. Who cares about 7.4 billion.

Everyone.

I actually prefer The Black Hole to Tron and think it has held up better over the years.
