Pixelhugger:
10) Space Invaders - Started it all for me. 9) Gorf - Because it talked. 8) Berzerk - Because it did too, and back then that was pretty new wave IMHO 7) Joust - Two player simultaneous goodness 6) Mario Brothers - See above 5) Missile Command - It wasn't until decades after first playing this that I moved to LA and found the military actually had a plan to use the same strategy in case of an attack from the Soviets over the Pacific. The missile control bunkers/towers still extist in the mountains above LA. The idea? Launch a nuke within a few miles at incoming bombers/ICBMs and, well..basically you have Missile Command. 4) Scamble 3) Pac Man 2) Donkey Kong and 1) Dragon's Lair. 50% for its innovation and 50% for it's 3 sided marquee. |
SONIC:
Scramble... yeah baby... the very first game I ever played, on the first computer I had, my Commodore 16 :) What times that was :) To be honest, it's first later I reckognized that Scrample also was an arcade :) How cool, so now it runs in MAME, totally tops :) |
radiator:
