CPU coin selector
« on: March 18, 2007, 08:33:13 pm »
At first I was looking at the Seeburg coin selector that was recently on Ebay for the jukebox I built, but I decided a newer looking and slightly cheaper coin mech might be better for my project.  I am looking at the CPU coin selector on Ebay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/A-CPU-COIN-SELECTOR-new_W0QQitemZ170086086234QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting
and the arcade coin selector on Ebay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ARCADE-COIN-SELECTOR-new_W0QQitemZ170068699435QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem.  What is the difference between these two coin selectors other than the price and the slight difference in the face of each of them and can you tell if the arcade coin selector is black or silver?  From the picture it looks black, but the shineness makes it look like it could be silver.  Also, is there a difference from a coin mechanism and a coin selector?  Will either of these selectors work with wincab jukebox and how would I hook them to the computer inside my jukebox?
Thank you for the help and sorry for the wordy post!

I have also just noticed the roll down acceptor on ebay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLL-DOWN-ACCEPTOR-STAINLESS-STEEL_W0QQitemZ120079313606QQcategoryZ13718QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting.
Which coin acceptor out of the three would be easiest to hook up and work with wincab?  The seller also has a coin counter which I thought might be neat.  Do you know if a coin counter would work with this selector?
Thank You for the help!

I think both of the units from yaton6262 are chrome.  The second has a reflection that makes it look black.  Don't know what the difference is given the description by the seller.  You should probably ask the seller your questions re differences and whether a coin counter will work.
